So guys I have yet another question. If the rpms of the pump are spinning faster then what I want, can i change the size of the drive motor pulley to compensate for it? If so will a larger pulley slow it down or speed it up? I have an 1.5 on there now and need to slow it up a bit.

Smaller drive pulley on the motor will slow down the driven pulley. You will need to move the pulleys apart to re-tension the belt, or get a shorter belt, or both.
Oops, I re-read your post and see that you are down to a pretty small pulley already. You may be forced to get a a larger pulley for your pump to slow it down, rather than a smaller motor pulley.
