The irony:
Paid $1800 for an oil cooled L21 vac pump from airtech. Ran 21" of vac for 20 hours and seized up. They have not returned my calls or e mails yet demanding a refund.
Bought a gast dry rotary vane pum that is pulling 23.5" and runs nice and cool. Paid $50 and 3 quarts of syrup for it.
2 lessons:
Avoid airtech
More $ doesn't always mean more performance in maple.
I will update you on airtech and let you know if they make good on their pump.
