Looks like we are in for a deluge this weekend.
Daytime high 6, 7, 10 with lows -7, -6, -3 respectively.
Anything longer than last years 11 days will be a nice treat !!

Taps went in on Tuesday with a few drips. Larger trees woke up yesterday. First boil should be tomorrow!

We had one run collected before getting whacked by a storm, got 12.2L syrup made out of that batch of about 100gals of sap. Collected about 200gals of sap yesterday after work, the Mrs is boiling away now while I am at work. I will do another round of the pails before joining her to finish off the boil. We hope to see a better year as well, at least enough to pay for our new SS filter tank.
