I asked this in my other thread but, can I just drill a hole in the top of the copper 90 to allow it to vent? Unfortunately as it is right now it is a very drippy spout. 7220

If you do I'd have an extra one ready incase all it does is leak out of the hole...

The valve controls the flow so unless you have it full open it should vent itself...

You need to put the elbow before the valve. You have to much pipe/elbow after the valve for it to clean out quickly.

I'm an idiot, it works fine after I soldered it on.

LMAO! Try Copper Piping a whole house, turn the water on...then have your boss say, "Hey...are you gonna solder these 2 joints?" and he was right and the flux was actually sealing them!

Haha, that could suck if it went unnoticed.
