preheater build ?

I am building a paralell preheater, and noticed that the ones I've seen have used t's and not elbows is there a reason as I bought elbows. Thanks.

You need a manifold at either end so elbows will not work. A preheater is a series of parallel pipes joined at either end (manifold).
