Been a busy spring but not much of a sap run yet. I purchased a 2x4 divided pan from Stainless steel creations last spring after the season was over. I thought I could modify my homemade arch for the bigger pan but it just didn't work. Ended up finding a free oil tank and made the arch. Have only done a test boil but have 50 taps out right now waiting for the run. The inside photos show the grates I found and the insulation before I put the firebrick in.

What did you have to pay for the pan?

I can't remember the specific amount last year but his current prices are on the web site.

I did get mine without the preheater pan because I plan on building a copper preheater so I can also collect some hot water.
