Tapping today in Derry, NH

Just back from vacation, students are excited to tap! :D
The first few trees seem to be running pretty well and hope to be able to check sugar content first thing in the morning.
We have approx. 150 taps and planning to get all of our on and off campus locations tapped between today and Wednesday.

I love hearing that your students are participating in this activity. It's a great learning experience on so many different levels for them. What class/curriculum area are you working this into? I work as a high school FACS teacher and have been looking for ways to incorporate this type of activity into my classroom ~ beyond a powerpoint presentation that I put together in my yard.

Are all taps on school property? What will you be using for collection? Do you have an evaporator at school? Please keep us updated!
