I have a stainless steel pan and was wondering if copper fitting where ok to use to connect the brass valves I bought? The valves have stainless balls in them.

I was told it was ok, but I am interested to hear what others have experienced. Below is a link to galvanic reactions.

It is not necessary to isolate copper from lead, tin or stainless steel under most circumstances. The principal metals of concern in terms of direct contact are aluminum and zinc. - See more at: http://www.copper.org/applications/architecture/arch_dhb/fundamentals/arch_considerations.html#sthash.PsJAgKgY.dpuf
Looks like accoding to this it is ok. I know I used copper in my stainless steel Pans...So we'll see!
