Started my first boil of the year last night..we're at 12gal of sap so far

We r now at 60 gallons of sap so far as of yesterday. I expect to get another 15-20 today. My trees seem to b a bit more sweeter this year.

Very cool! Fun and addicting isn't it! I had 11 taps last year, my 1st year and this year I have 41 and 360 gallons of sap so far!

Yes! It is addicting. My third season this year. I sold a few bottles last year to guys at work. I was asking 10$ for a 12oz. bottle and was pretty floored when guys were giving me 15$ and 20$. I eventually would like to buy or build a wood fired evaporator and tap all the maples on my property. It is alot of work but pretty satisfying seeing n tasting that final product.

131gallons......I don't get it..I filter and bottle the exact same way every time....sometimes its perfectly clear and sometimes its cloudy..

16 today..trees r running good right now..which brings us to 147 gallons of tree blood

Total syrup so far is roughly 3gal...still have 18gal of sap waiting to boiled and expecting another 20 today..This has been the best week so far this season

Pancake party!!!;) only 5gal. Today....215 .pretty good signs its about over..60degree temp today..spring peepers out for the first time last night..couple more days 30s n 40s n then another warm up..a few more days n im pulln the spiles...:P
