Nishimura Friction Blowers/vacuum pump

has anyone used a vacuum pump like this one? I have a chance to pick it up localy for a great price. 7088

For air-over-fire or air injection to boiling, those are fine blowers. I have a couple myself. But for pipeline vacuum they don't have sufficient vacuum, and I don't recommend it.
