Add Thinned Syrup to New Boil

I boiled 4 gallons last weekend and got it down to about 18 oz of really thin syrup, tastes really good. I didnt get a chance to finish it totally to syrup. Question is can i add it to the boil this weekend? I plan on boiling 6 gallons this weekend. Once i get the 6 gallons boiled down a bit can i add the older stuff to the new stuff? Will it be ok?

My opinion is if you want to add last weekends, boil the 6 gallons of sap down to a similar point and add last weeks then.

You can add it at any point it won't really matter. If you add it toward the end you may make slightly lighter syrup than otherwise, depends on if that matters to you or not.
