After getting the snowmobile unstuck, where my wife left it two days prior when it ran out of gas (1 mile into the woods, uphill, in 2ft of snow, on snowshoes), we (my wife and I) proceeded to chase down vacuum leaks. After going to high vacuum this year, we are finding a lot more leaks. We replaced over 100 saddles this year we are still finding leakers. We finally got out of the woods at dark.
Are you sure it is the saddles that are leaking? The saddles will hiss if one of the trees on that lateral line are leaking. I have never heard of someone replacing so many leaky saddles. What kind are you using? Did you wire tie them also? I wish you the best.
