I just bought a used alamo, no motor or releaser yet. Question is this: If during a sapflow the vacuum stops, out of gas, etc. will the sap still flow through the releaser into the tank? I am planning on getting a new gilles bern.. My guess is that it does. thanks for the info.

van, don't know about a giles bernard, but on my benders, yes the sap runs right through them and into the tank. I would assume that they'd all be that way. Mark
Van, The sap will flow thru the releaser.....I've had it pour out before i've started my pump.....

Van- The sap runs through my machanical gilles bernard releasers also,,I take the gas tanks off the gas moters and run a line to a 5 gallon jug,,dont have to worry about running out of gas then,,,I just drill and tap the bottom of the plastic jug and thread a nipple into it ,,works for me,,
Hey Parker! Did you get a RO ????
