Another unwanted oil tank given new life :-)

Well this thing will not be a front runner for a beauty contest but lets hope she'll boil some sap! Up until this project I hadn't touched a welder in 12+ years. My brother (who builds navy ships for a living) had a few good laughs and informed me "that's not navy certified but it should be smoke tight"! It was a fun overall project and it all was free except the brick. My pan will be in Friday so I'm planning on doing a test boil then or Saturday. I have 2"clearance under the arch for the first row if brick then 1". If its too little ill have to doing some more fabricating. My thought was closer to the pan the better??

After my first fire I realized my door is less than adequate. Anyone know where/if I can get a door like the ones in the barrel stove kits? I'm open to other ideas as well.
