Tapped 35 trees near South Haven MI yesterday

I finally got tired of waiting for the 40's and decided to tap this past Sunday. The local temp was in the mid 30s and even drilling into trees I could see the sap dripping before I even got the buckets hung. I can't speak to sugar content, but the sap was sweet to the taste, which thrilled my girls. Looks like a few days of consecutive temps above freezing, so I hope to be able to boil towards the middle of the week.
