Sugar shack hot spot

Just took the lap-top down to the new shack and it seems I can pick up the Wi-FI signal down there! :)

Who else has WI-FI in the shack?

I do, now that I got a fancy schmansy new smart phone. I finally moved out of the stone aged flip phone and into a htc droid dna. Still trying to figure out how to use the darn thing. Its also a hot spot so if my wife will let me I can take the lap top down to the shack too. :)

I'm close enough to my wireless router so that I have internet access in the sugar house. I haven't figured out the skype thing yet but I have used the laptop down there.

Sounds like a recipe for disaster....Can't tell you how many things I've ruined in my kitchen because of the internets.

So far I have only brought my laptop to the sugar house when I have been canning. Something to do while waiting for the syrup to heat up. I have help and usually guest when I am boiling so there isn't much time for the maple trader.

internet can be a great tool in the sugar house especially when it comes to sales. I do not have a smart phone but do use paypal and having internet available purchases can be made without cash.

I think I will use it mainly for music off of youtube. I took it down last night with the external speakers and subwoofer and did some cleaning. Surly does sound good
