getting started

i am playing with tubing this year. i picked up all my materials and will start to put up this weekend. i want to at least get the tubing set out this weekend and start tapping monday.

ran out of tubing and couldnt finish the line. put up 25 buckets today all on sugars and they running were very well. it stinks my tubing is finished. should be here tomorrow and ill work with a headlight to get it up.

the rest of the tubing came in on tuesday. raining heavy but time is ticking. finished the first mainline today with a little over 50 taps on it. was running nicely by the time the last tap was in. soaked to the bone but oh so nice.

put another 40 on tubing today to catch the end of the season. the problem now is i cant boil fast enough. time to upgrade.
