Don't post much here....busy on other forums moderating......but maybe someone could make use of the info. I have a couple hundred taps on gravity tubing my friend boils, but I decided to do a little on my own and had time to fabricate this over a few days from mostly shop scraps from other projects. Just bought brick, gasket, blanket, some pans (had 2 already)

Finishing pan is 4" deep and hangs 1" below frame, others are 6" pans and first pan is 2 inches deeper below to catch heat of the fire.

Boiled 3 times for 155 gallons of sap to make 2 3/4 gal of syrup. First time was a bit helter skelter getting things proper for when to feed and move sap along; but the last 2 did about 50 gallons in a bit over 5 hrs for each run.....and a little clean up, shut down time. I am leaving all the middle sweet pan for the next run, so that helps the numbers a bit.

Nice clean looking unit.
You made a better unit with scaps that I did with buying my steel, great job !!
