I removed both of your threads where you mention Sugarbush Info - there is already enough perceived friction between the two sites and we do not want/need there to be more. Please keep your thoughts about their site off of ours.
Thanks!
Kim
I don't know what else to say or have anything good to say so I'll leave it at that...not to mention I didn't mention any specific site I just said "the Other Site"...
Maybe I'll just stop posting here too...I don't know...I just lost a bunch of advice about what filter to get over this dumb stuff...and it has absolutely nothing to do with me...

come on maples, give us sap as soon as possible to calm us .. we act like Vampires without blood...
I'm very sorry that a complete post is remove for one allusion to a problem. References to this site are accept on the other site, and Mapletrader is included in the directory under "Ressourses"
Best moderation is to edit and remove a part of a thread, not all informations that members put...

I see that Don has decided to leave this site. That is very unfortunate. I for one will be watching closely for his return following, what I would hope would be, an attempt by the moderator to persuade him to do so - perhaps with an apology for an over reaction. It seems to me that Don is exactly the kind of person this site is here for. From my perspective, he has made some fine contributions and should remain on the site.

Hey, this guy is not FrankIvy
Now that is funny!   Wife even asked me what I was laughing about.
I received a complaint from the person who was mentioned in the thread and I feel he has the right to ask that it be removed. As the owner of this site, I stand by my decision. Anyone who wants to mention the "other site" in a positive manner is welcome to do so.
Thanks.

Thank you Kim. The "other site's" policy is the same and includes several back links as it always has. No idea where all of this came from but glad to see it resolved.
PS. Remind Chris I'm waiting for my next pod cast.

Ok Kim and the Person mention in the post can't even send me a PM and explain for himself?
Also you removed the whole post. It was titled " Best Filter Machine for 100 Taps" and I had a very valid reason for asking about said person when $800 was involved and I wanted the members honest input. Well now I have my answer. I won't be doing business with said member.
It could have been edited to just say "What's the best Filter Machine for 100 taps? There's not much info on the sites that actually sell them"
I suppose if I knew people in the Sugaring Industry that were big and could just call them on the phone and ask about "said Person" and their "Product" I would have. But since I don't I come to a Forum like this and ask EVERYBODY. Isn't that how it's supposed to work? Isn't that what Forums are for? Isn't that how people sell a Product and get Good Feedback? I was seriously hoping what I got was good feedback instead I got bashed for what I don't know still.
I don't know what the deal is with this site and other's but my opinion is this site is it's own site and it needs to worry about itself. If you take the time and energy to cater to everyone's needs when they think someone is talking bad about them then the site won't be fun to run anymore. Alot of things just need to work themselves out and that's what in my opinion should have happend here.
I still have alot of mixed feelings about this website to website conflict but as some have PM'd me about already it's not all the members fault so I'll keep posting I just won't mention any people but myself and won't mention any other websites or Products so I don't get another slash with the sugar whip...
Bryan, thanks for the "apology" on what you said to me on your site... Also Bryan, your response to my Tapping 15 Taps on Gravity for the 1st time is what started all this...Maybe you should follow your own site better and talk with your moderator that banned me...That's the last time I mention this...

Coming from a larger producer. Agree nice don
Welcome back Don. We need people like you on this site. Try not to let comments or situations upset you on this site. I have been bashed many times on this site (some deserving some not) but it's all fun just the same. I hold no hard feelings towards anyone on this site and wish everyone the best. Let's hope we all make a bunch of syrup this year.

We all need to get along we may disagree on somethings. I like both sites, Mapletraders will always be my true Love. When I didn't have a clue how to make syrup. Some good people helped me out. Now it is my time to pay it forward. Good Luck all of you.

Don - Thanks for not leaving and forming another Maple Syrup Site. Because I know You have the ability to do it. I have gotten in trouble a few times myself and it was for the two old trouble filled Topics - Religion and Politics - On both Sites. When someone tosses a little bait out - I do my best to avoid it now. I've learned a few lessons in life. Be respectful of others - but - don't take any of their crap. When you are wrong - readily admit it and apologize. and when necessary - Retreat and live to fight another day. etc. etc. ----Anyway - Hang around Buddy - Michiganders are in Short Supply. --------Mike------

Thanks everyone. Im just here to have fun Sugaring and talking and sharing amongst good people. There are very few Forums I visit much anymore due to this click kind of stuff happening. This was and will remain one I really enjoy so when I got my post deleted for trying to make sure I wasnt gonna lose money on a product and making sure I was buying the best product for me I was in shock and disappointed. But im done with that mess and believe me the few involved wont get the time of day from me. Everyone else thanks for making this site fun!

Oh Don! ---- LOL------ I left out one of the most important bits of advice given to me. -----"Don't push your luck! Chum!" ----Now lets make Syrup....--Mike--
Ha ha ha i been there i told them for 500 dollars id pull them out they didnt want to pay it so they left the car there for 2 and a half days and had to walk in the middle of the snow storm of course it didnt help when there stuck just down the road of my neighbors house which i was nice enogh to plow it his drive but had no where to put the snow so i pushed it by his truck.you could just see the cab. Boy did that bast$#% have it coming
who me push my luck? NEVER! HAHAHAHA
short story about getting time of day:
Old coworker boss sent me 2.5 one wat to work and kept a useless piece of human trash working just 30 min from my house. I was going to school and this other oguy never planned on it. well one night in a 16" snow storm I came upon him slammed in a rock ledge on side of route4 from rutland to castleton on my way home from the 3.5hr drive that night. When I noticed who it was just beeped my horn and kept driving, I was first person buy them no one was there yet. So yes Don every dog gets its day.
Dang and i signed up on this site because i though you guys were helpful.
