We started our tapping on Feb. 11 with 54 taps on lines and had our first boil in Feb. 16th. We plan on tapping out 15 buckets early next week and adding 1 more tap to the lines, bringing our total for our second year to 70 taps. I saw Wending Creek tapping their buckets yesterday and heard that Hamilton's is tapping/tapped. Haven't heard about Jasonl16. Are there any other Potter County residents out there tapping?

Well I've got 100 tapped in on lines in McKean and hope to get the rest of my Potter buckets and lines tapped this weekend. Looks like winter wants to hang on around here...

Hello from Wyalusing Pa. I'm a native of St. Marys. Good to see the maple activity there. I do about 100 taps with a combo of buckets and a small gravity line. Did a small batch of syrup about a week ago, now the weather has been staying too cold. My gravity line tank was nothing but ice yesterday. Good luck this season. It's definitely going to be a later season.
