Patriot test boil

Boiled baking soda. Worked great. Was quick to start up and worked well. I might close up under the flues a bit to increase boil in my front pan, but will wait to see how that works with extended boiling and less timid wood loading. Have not placed the hood yet, as I wanted to see what was happening. The sight glass for the head tank worked as I had hoped. I chased leaks for a while, luckily none of them were in the solder. 69236924692569266927

How many gallons and hour were you boiling?

I don't really know. I went about an hour on the test boil. I will pay more attention to that this week as I won't be worrying so much about what is going on and will let it rip. I will be adding the hood which will help as well.
