Typically if you buy raw sap what do people pay for it? I would have to pick it up.

Most people pay based on sugar content and clearity of the sap.
Every year the maple syrup digest prints a recommended guide that alot follow. This year 2.5% was .26/gal and 3% was .329/gal. There is a ton more but that will give you an idea.

The prices in the Maple Digest are for sap delivered to the sugarhouse. If you have to pick it up yourself, you would have to deduct for your hauling expenses (manhours, fuel, wear and tear on vehicle, etc.).
