Drain off pipeing

Can I use black iron pipe to go from pan to pan an to drain off syrup or is that a no no:o:confused: thanks kacey

I think no, it will rust big time. Use brass, copper or stainless.

Copper is easiest, use couplings to allow for disconnect. Be sure to use lead free solder. If your pans are stainless you will need a special flux for soldering to it, I used Stay Brite which I got at a welding supply store.
