Set-up is 115 taps. From house, two 3/4' mainlines down steep grade w/trees, gradual w/trees to 1 mainline, to sugarhouse 175 gal poly open top storage tank, inlet milk sock filter, all gravity so far (no power). ETQ 1200 w for lights. Rather than buying a 1500.00 extractor set-up, I am thinking of simply installing a pump above house garage, run dry line down hill to sugarhouse main storage tank. Designing a heavy steel lid w/outer seal, 2x 3/4 banjo fittings (1 sap inlet w/internal milk sock, 1 vacuum inlet), set lid atop 175 gal open poly tank, clamp, close drain ball valve and induce vaccum into main tank. Dry line would act as overflow with relief valve. Any ideas on associated problems?

If you can get the tank to seal, it will implode in a dramatic crunch. Your plan of putting a pump at your house where you have power is sound, you just need a tank designed to withstand vacuum. For that few taps look into a bender milk releaser, lots of posts about them on the trader, or a lapiere hobby releaser or homebuild one if you're handy, there are threads on here about that as well.
