I am sure it has been discussed somewhere but I am having trouble finding something on it..What are the benefits/drawbacks to a copper pan vs a stainless one

Thanks in advance...Peter

Copper has excellent heat transfer qualities, but it requires more elbow grease to keep clean as it tarnishes.
It has been dicussed on here before, but I gave up trying to find the thread. I seem to remember a bunch of arguing about the ability or inability to weld copper.

Copper conducts heat a lot better. SS will be cheaper.
