Hey all I'm looking for a 2'x4'(ish) pan. I've found some used ones but nothing local or shipping option. I was planning on restaurant steamer pans but thought if I could get something in the 400ish dollar range I might change my mind. Found a 2x4' in eBay with pre heater but its a flat pan about 400 with shipping. How would a single flat bottom work? Any help it direction would be great! I'm building my own arch and am still at the point I can vary on the 2x4' dimension6849.

Found a 2x4with 2 dividers with a pre heater 500.00 delivered. Would this be a good pan, and is it the going price?

I think that pan would work fine, Try checking out BASCOM used pans

I have the same pan that you show and bought it off e bay a few years ago. It works well for the 40 buckets I hang. And I spent 400.00 shipped.

I have looked at bascom there is a 4x2' small bros for 300.00 so I'm guessing at least 50.00 shipping. Pan looks "nasty" would that clean up?
Couple 40"x18" dallaire 275-325
Dallaire 42"x2' 395
Waterloo 42"x18" 350

This is more of a "what would you do" I guess. If I could find a reasonable local deal then that's what I'd do. Used I'm gonna be most likely 350-450 with shipping and I could go new for 500.

Just ordered my pan! Now it's the waiting game and watch the sap pile up until its arrival. This is the one I went with. It's 2x4

ok, I am mulling purchasing my first welded pan (2 X 3 divided flat with preheater sans fittings). I need some advice on the fittings as it comes without. What's the difference between stainless and brass outside of price (naturally). Is brass more maintenance? So many maple shops offer fittings..what's the difference between them and home depot?

Also....how is syrup handled in a divided pan? I'm upgrading from steam pans where I did my own transfers, and boiled down til there as enough to finish up on my kitchen stove. now I have a drawoff valve but exactly WHAT am I drawing off? pre-finished or finished?
