plugs

i have a SS 2x3 flat, reversable, pan with dividers and a warming pan it came with 2 ball valves and ports for a thermometer got it new a few years age and am now getting to use it

my question is do i need SS plugs to close the extra ports or can i use copper or brass or steel??

I couldn't find a stainless steel, so I used a brass one. Not sure it was recommended though, so thanks for your question. Maybe someone has precise answer.

as far as i can tell, brass, copper, and stainless steel, are all acceptable. i have used all three in my pans.
