do you have to use brick in a oil fired arch if all ready have arch board ? i heard not . what do you think?

Most just use ceramic blanket and no firebrick. Might want at least one layer over the arch board because it wouldn't stand up to direct heat like the ceramic blanket. :?

the back of my arch is brick under the flue pan. i found blanket on ebay for 64.00 for 1'x1"x25" thats cheap!
