1st Time Running Gravity Tubing- VIDEO!!!

My son Tyler and I Tapped 15 Taps and ran Tube Gravity Line. Took about 3 Hours then we tapped 10 Trees with Buckets for a total of 25 Taps this year. We found a bunch of other Maples too but 25 is all for this year...next year I think I could reach 100 Taps!

Yes that would be nice! I haveta say it's not easy work that's for sure! This is the last major thing I get to do ( Maple Syrup Season) then I have to get my right arm operated on, cut 3 times to release piched nerves and I am gonna be in a cast for 4 weeks then Physical Therapy for at least 3 Months. I am not looking forward to it at all and after the little bit I used it today it's killing me!

Nice job on the video Don. Similar how I ran mine, 5/16 mainline with 5/16 laterals coming into mainline. I have 50 trees on it for spring. I did put a vacuum gauge on the upper end. Thanks for the video.

Thanks everyone! I just woke up cause working the night shift makes weekends rough... Seems pretty warm outside but nothing coming in the Saphouse yet. Gonna go for a walk in a bit and see how the tubes are doing and the buckets.

I know that Vacuum Gauge on the end might not be the best place for it but I had it and figured I'd throw it in just to see what it says....
