Hey guys was just wondering. I have a rather large maple in my backyard that i have tapped the last 3 years. However this summer i noticed after a few storms, that some rather large dead branches had came down. Fine enough. than early fall it started dropping leave 3-4 weeks earlier than any other maple in the area. to the point it was pretty much bare when the others started dropping.
Now im debating if i should tap or not this year. I normally put two taps in it so was considering just doing one. Or should i hold off entirely. I would hate to loose the tree as its pretty much my last big tree in the yard.
any advise would be great.
