would like to build a new set of flue pan,my evap is a 2x6 ..i want to make a new 2x2 syrup pan and a 2x4 flue pan with 5 1/2 drop flues..What kind of bending brake do i need to bend them..I talked to a sheet metal guy ,he told me that needs a special brake to bend them and there isn't one in this city

It will cost you less to buy a set of pans than by the equipment to make a set in my opinion.

You can do it with any break. It just takes more welding. Bend one side like an L and have straight piece on the other side. Yes it would be alot less work to have a press break and be able bend a whole sheet into a complete bottom. Now were talking thin metal so tig welding is a must if you can't do it or have a friend you can barter with(mine cost me a few cords of logs) it will be expensive. Hope to see what u end up with.

i just got a price on pans 2200.00...if i knew what brake to use or make i think it would be cheaper
