help needed

I have never used or even seen an r.o. run. I know where I can get an old one that the army corps. Of engineers had it looks to be in great conditionwondering if/what would I need to do to it to use for sap? I don't know how big it is and only tap a couple hundred trees right now but plan on expanding, and I can get it for free so any info would be appreciated.

need more info- like what was it used for, and how long has it been sitting. Then some basics about membrane size and quantity. Chances are it needs new membranes at the very least. Also check how big a high pressure pump it has (should have nameplate on motor at the very least.

Most of those RO's are 3 phase. You will need 3 phase if so, because a converter will not give you enough power to run it. Also, the membrane issue. Was this just used to desalinate sea water? Can you even tll? It may have been used to clean swamp water before purifying for drinking.

So far all I know is that it was used for water. I'll pick it up this week, and I'll be able to get more info.
