First post, been wandering around old and new flood vane pump posts. Was wondering what people are using in there Dairy Pump Flood Systems for oil. Is everyone using Vacuum Pump oil or is anyone using anything else. Converting a couple of our pumps to flood setups and was hoping to find a less costly oil given the quantities we need to purchase with multiple pumps. Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing one person told me to use hydrolic oil not sure about that maybe air compressor oil would work.

Use a good vacuum pump oil. If you've already spent the money to go vacuum don't go cheap on oil. Just my opinion.

My local store you have to order it but yes they have it. I also have had good luck with it...low mist and keeps pump cool

In my new pump I don't need oil! But my two older one's I have used TCS for the last few years. Works great and price is far.
