tapping in washington county

Well I finally decided to bite the bullet and get my taps out. Headed to grimms in Rutland to pick up my sap bags and some other things. Today i will get all my tanks clean and sanitized ready to go. Tomorrow me and my brother are installing the new cv2 on are pipeline. Lets hope its a banging year.

Igot 600 gallons of sap,from the felow i buy sap from,evaporator not ready,ro not washed,hope itdon't gt to cold or someone with a 2x6 could boil it,i wll deliver it ithin reasonable miles for .30 cents a gallon,it is 2.1 % sugar

I just got back from the bush. I only had one line that came down. had a in line conector pull loose but all the others look good.there is only about 1 foot of snow too.I am located in the Adirondack park in Franklin county. It shouldn't be long now.

Just my luck. I had a big old white birch fall on my mainline yesterday. I go all year without this problem then boom right before the season. The life of a sugar maker aint easy. Well hopefully it stays cold so i can fix it before the sap flows.
