ok i just recieved my wayne ss pump to transfer sap but now i need hoses that are safe to use, last year i used pex and bought the appropriate fittings but they were kind of pain, not very flexible. i will use this system again if i have to, i have looked into drinking safe hoses and the reviews are very bad. what do most use?
I went to my local hardware store and bought some clear flexiable hose that was safe for potable water. was expensive stuff, 3/4" I think. It is what I use for my line from the tank to the float
I use clear hose used in the dairy industry for raw milk you can get it at farm supply store or a dairy equipment supply.

For smaller pumps, an option is the garden hose sized water hose for RVs. Listed as "approved for drinking water" and available at most hardware stores.

Good rv hose it is water potable and really easy to clean hook it up to your hose bib and run clean water through it. Good Luck. Lee
