Click on my photo book. There are a few pictures of my trash can roof jack! It has been working for us since 2002 !

Are you running a single wall stack? If you are running an insulated stack, you can use a high temperature pipe flashing. I did this and have had no problems in 5 years of use.

Not sure if this is how people have been doing it but it seems like it will work good for us. Plenty of airspace around the pipe and the pipe flashing measured 27" which is exactly 4 metal roof ribs..added a bunch of lexel for a seal then put the screws to each rib, def water tight...I'll take a few better pics tomorrow. My phone camera died before i got the weather ring and last length of pipe on...

10" single wall pipe. I jury-rigged it through the roof for several years, trying to run on the cheap and keep water out. Didn't work. Finally contacted Leader and they have quite a few "seconds" roof jacks. Some are simply custom units never picked up. I got a great deal on mine, and now, dry as a bone!
