I have a similar question to Emmerick's Maple.
I will have approx 700 taps. They were on a tank and I will be running the line to the sugar house on vacuum now instead. The line will be 2700' from bush to house.
Any suggestions on mainline size and vacuum punp size.
Thanks.

The bush is on a few seperate 3/4" lines now that run into a tank at the bush. When I add the line from there to the house it will be fairly steep but with some spots of a lower 5% grade mixed in. Maybe 50-50.
I would like to add taps in the new mainline mostly in the top couple hundred feet. I would project the total at maybe 900 sometime in the future.

Kevin hit it right on the head, put a booster in where your lines come together and get as big a pump as you can get.
