Last Saturday Harold Leavitt of Leavitt Family Maple, Sunapee, NH passed away.
I had the opurtunity to work with Harold at a local building supply, back in the late 70's / early 80's.
He was a wonderful guy, just the salt of the earth. Never had a bad word to say about most people. He liked to raise hell and have fun.
He loved sugaring, boiling sap for some 70 years.
Harold we will miss not bumping into you at the maple meetings.
And yes the picture in the obituary is Harold making syrup!
