Interested in setting up some surplus goods I've acquired from some friends and would like to do this as efficiently as possible. Due to the lowered start up cost my first year is starting off right, although, this is only to get the ball rolling for vacuum next season. Wondering how I should utilize the 1" mainline (4000') confused with the 3/16-5/16 theories... I've got plenty of slope, a lot of cage tanks, tubing, etc. and all the ambition a 28 yr old could have. Just don't want to screw this up. Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks

I would say that is plenty of mainline to start with. If you are going to vacuum you will want to just start with 5/16 lateral lines. Run the main line out and put it up on wire get it tight and straight then I would use saddles. One nice thing about this way is once you get the mainline run how you want it you can add saddles any time you want so you could start with a few and add more when you get more money.
