Walk in cooler for sap

Has anyone ever used a coolbot with an air conditioner to build a walk-in cooler for sap storage? Suposedly with a "coolbot" you can cool an 8x12 insulated room to 38 degrees using a 12000 btu window air conditioner.

I looked into it last year. $300 for a coolbot . Its a small heater that fools the temp probe. I have a wall ac unit in a 12x16 room that maintained 60 f. all summer. Going to put a coil and compressor in for this summer if I can find them cheap enough and cut the size of the room down a little. As they mention the insulation is important. Also go as big as you can on the ac and it will run less. Even at 60 it did help hold grade in plastic. I would like a cold cellar but here it would need a sump pump.
