whats was the field dressed weight for those Michigan Bucks??

Mine dressed at 183 lbs which is Big for a Michigan Buck.

Dad's was 143 lbs Dressed but it had an injured front leg from a few years ago and that took away muscle from it's shoulder so it probally woulda went easy 160 lbs if it didn't have the injury.

The best part is Dad got his in his Tower Blind 60 yards behind my house and I got mine 200 yards from my house in my tower blind!

I was so excited and happy my Dad got his buck after an 8 year drought that I barely remember shooting mine!

Plus the day video of my buck was at dad's blind and he couldn't hunt that morning! He told me I could sit in his blind and I said "Nope, I'm gonna shoot him from my blind" and I did, lol!

Kinda felt bad until 3 Days later he wacked his Buck and boy was he happy! Made my whole year for sure!

Nice bucks....Sometimes you gotta take the weird racks. We don't have a good buck blood line here right now. we are in a lull for for good bucks, racks kinda straggly. Lots of deer though since we had a mild winter and this one was easy too so that should boost the population even more. I gotta 135lb doe this year, she was huge. a little tough but not too bad let it hang to the last possible moment.

I am originally from Northwest New Jersey Talk about alot of deer. My Parents and brother are still there. My Dad got 2 deer and my Brother got 3 this year. they have an earn a buck program down there so you have to shoot a doe first before you can shoot a buck. So they usually get that out of the way early the have some REALLY nice big bodied big rack trophy bucks down there now. My brother got a his doe a small 6 point with limp he wanted to to get it out and he shot a 205lb 10 point(had to drag it out over a mile to get it out of the woods) My Dad got his doe and a 165 lb 8point. I was there for the holidays and we have always kept our tags and I haven't shot a deer down there in 10+ years but I counted all the tags between my brother my dad and me we took over 125 deer since 1987. my best year was 4 deer, I think we took 9 that year alone. and that wasn't our best year!!!
