Steam boiler questions

A buddy and I have recently finished installing a new steam system,I purchased a kenawee 500,32hp,150 psi,had a custom as pan fabricated,10 ft long,4ft high to eliminate boil over, used 1 inch k copper for manifold,steam cycles through manifold out to strainers and steam traps then back to boiler,the manifold sits on 1 1/2 in as stays on bottom of pan,the debate seems to be will I be able to finish syrup in the big pan or will I have to transfer to finish pan,hoping someone has seen a similar system and me some input.....thanks in advance .......john

Might try calling Bascom's and talking to Bruce. They'e been using steam for 25 years or so.
