Fire bricks

I finished bricking my arch yesterday and came up 8 short. Does anyone know where to get the bricks? I have the 1.25 x 4 x9 tan ones. Louis Doe in Damariscotta wants $7+ per brick!! I'm in the mid coast area.

I also couldn't find any online very cheap. I found a concrete block plant 15 miles away and they sold the half size bricks for $1.30. I was so happy.... :) Start asking around your local building stores and I bet you will find them...

I got mine (splits) at Tractor Supply on clearance marked down to $1.99 from $2.99 a couple weeks ago. I think there are a few tractor supply stores in Maine.

I just purchased a whole pallet load of whole and split brick. The place I went to was called County Materials and they are all over the place. Google them up and see if there is one near you.
