A&A Metal shop prices

Hi Rookie, I have a 2013 price list From Altley. He made a hood and a couple roof jacks for me I and can honestly say they do a great job there. My sugarbush is a couple of miles from his shop. If you want, I can copy and send one out to you.

It might be best to not post the price list on line. I did this a couple of years ago. I heard Atlee caught some flack from his bishops. However, he has an add for barrels in the Maple News!? I'm very happy with mine. It just doesn't clean up that easy.

Atlee is a good man! He initially told me in January that my evaporator wouldnt be finished till late February....he just called me and said it was done and ready to be picked up!
Couldn't be better timing! Psyched!
I asked him when I made the order if I could do a blog article on his shop and he was fine with it.

I am still waiting on a responce via snail mail from Atlee, regarding 2 stainless steel tanks for next year. His prices blow others right out of the water. And if I can make the trip down and pick up 2 at a time it would be well worth it.

It is a pretty neat shop isn't it. I teach at Northern Potter which is in Ulysses. Atlee does excellent work and I know he has saved a few peoples season by doing mid season repairs including Patterson’s a few years back that has 80,000 taps Atlee fixed it in the driveway as it wouldn't fit in the shop Amazing. The last price list I saw was all hand written and he updates. As far as I know the only downside of one of their pans is the flu pan as they can't make the tighter bends which cuts down on the efficiency.

I have one of the A&A evaporators and am very pleased. Not bright and shiny like some, just a really great value in my opinion.
