We are looking forward to hauling sap with this little brute. We have some skin to repair, but I love this thing. Every load of sap is over a drum of syrup.

Nice find. What does it hold, about 1,000 gals.??

1800 gallons. But I may use a little RO at the collection site to double my storage. Take 2% to 4% and I really hauling 3600 gallons, right? Sounds good in theory....

Hope the axles on that trailer are rated for the weight. And the tires are in hood shape. With tank and liquid it will probably be over 15,000 lbs.

Is there frost laws in your state might be a little over
Weight. I have a semi and can only haul half of a load
At a time to scale it legally. Make sure theres trailer
Brakes. Otherwise it looks good

Right. The RO at the site sounds like a real good idea. The picture made it seem a little smaller. I have a 1,000 gal. on a trailer that I haul behind a 3/4 ton pickup. Been doing it for 6 - 7 years, can't remember for sure but it makes for a nice hauler. It handles well.

Within 150 miles there is an agricultural exemption for a CDL. As far as a frost law, I wasn't aware there was such a thing. I was wondering how a dirt road would hold up when the frost goes out.

Tires are good. The brakes work, well. I'm going to use a 1 ton dually this year. I found a 3200 gallon tanker I may invest in next year. I'll definitely need a tractor to haul that big boy. Snow concerns me, when it comes to semi tractors. I suppose tire chains would help.

Around here, milk, sap, fuel delivery and trash trucks are exempt from the road ban. Oh and fire trucks
