Drop flue pan worth...

I am looking to pick up a D&G 3x10 evaporator tomorrow with preheater hoods. I have a 3x7 leader drop flue pan in good shape from 1993 that they are offering me $1,500 for is that a decent deal? He wants $8,000 for the complete evaporator including hoods and base with auf setup.

The D&G unit does'nt sound like a bad deal. Everything in nice shape? Compare it to what they get for that set up today, brand new. The $1500 figure sounds low though. Bascoms recently had a 30"x5.5' raised flue for $2250. Are you trading the Leader pan in? Selling that pan outright would bring a higher price.
