I seen them as low as 1.25 a gallon to 2.25
Theres a a big demand for zero tanks in the
Maple industry.

Just be sure it's a vacuum rated zero, there are zero brand tanks that are NOT vacuum rated and will implode. It'll say "not for vacuum" on the end of tank if it isnt.

The Zero tanks we sold recently were for $1.50/gallon but for smaller tanks they may ask up to $2/gallon. Make sure it has good gaskets with the tank. I understand they can be hard to come by.

Its a brand name of milk tank that were (mostly) built to withstand vacuum, making them popular with sugarmakers since they allow you to have a vacuum tubing system without a releaser.

Attached is a pic of two Zero tanks we have since replaced with an open top tank with releaser.

if its the oval type lids the gaskets are around 200 bucks each, round lid type are about 60, usualy they are 2 bucks a gallon minimum, i have seen 2.50 to 3 bucks a gallon and dont think thats unreasonable if they are in good shape.

im looking at it on friday its got 2 round lids on top. one on each end gaskets are suppose to be good its about 2" thick with the cooling pipes running down the sides for refrigeration ? so 250 -300 bucks is a good deal if its in good shape

That is a good price. Here is a picture of mine. My grandfather bought it new in '59. I use it for my concentrate/feed tank.
