Whats this used pan worth ?

Hi Everyone:

This pan is for sale locally to where I live. But, because I live one mile from Michigan in my border town, I purchase a lot of my maple stuff in Michigan. I am asking what a Michigan (USA) price would be for this pan if you were selling it. The owner says it is only 3 yrs old and in great shape. It has 5 sections and two boxes on the side, I,m sure the pics will show that.

It is a 2 x 3 pan.

I appreciate anyone telling me the price now and possibly what is cost as new. I know it is a flat bottom, no flues.63296330

Any idea of evaporation rate with all factors good, dry wood etc.

This could be my new pan if "THE PRICE IS RIGHT "

i would say around 250-300, a new one like this from wegner metal works is 385, and this one looks pretty new

Welded or soldered? Looks welded to me, but It seems in good shape. I will tell you that a 2x3 with no float boxes from leader for a half pint (actually 24''x33'') is about 500 dollars. So, with the float boxes and it being used I would still say $400 or so is good. Just my opinion, oh and you could get 4-6gph out of it, more with a blower and insulated and tight arch.

Looks like a good pan! Why are the two dividers angled? I dont think I have seen that before?

I dont know why two dividers are angled. I think I am going to pass on this pan. The Seller says he paid around $700.00 for it 3 yrs. ago, in Canada, maybe he did, you never know.

He wanted $350 bottom line he said.

I will wait for my upgrade and see what happens.

I think $350 is reasonable - it's looks to be in very good shape. Never seen dividers like that.

Looks good to me and you don't have to pay shipping cost, its a start and you can add a back pan next year
I bought mine at BASCOM used for 275 30''X57 look at there used pans and compear prices, good luck
