First batch of syrup made in our new sugar house today. Two days in the 50s and 60s mid week followed by single digits made for a lot of steam today

I am here inNorthern ME. We had little run last week,but it was short and sweet. Was wondering if anybody is having or had good run to the South of ME. Going to have to throw some sugar in a rain barrel and boil that down !!

Patience, Patience, Patience - Does anyone know how to turn a Rain Dance into a version for a sap run? A bunch of snow this week, cold temps and all of my trees deep in the woods have not allowed a bit of sap this week. I can say that my firewood sure is getting a chance to dry this year.

I like the pics of your sugarhouse . Question , how's the dripping inside ? starting on ours in spring , and want to try to avoid the suana . Thanks and good luck
