First run of 2013?

Hi folks,

Here in the Northeast, we are looking at possible sugaring weather through the weekend.

If anyone is tapped already and planning on making syrup, please let us know.

We are putting together our February issue as we speak and this will certainly be newsworthy.

We just finished our first run with about 15 gallons of syrup from 365 taps, but we're a little out of the northeast. SE Missouri to be exact.

Nice! You might be the first of 2013. Although we found a couple guys in Vermont planning on making syrup today or tomorrow, but not sure if they have made it yet.

Gary R in Polk Pa is boiling also. I visited with him on Friday evening. He was making some delicious light amber.
